Athletes training on a university football pitch

Bridge performance science and the pitch

Turn university or school facilities into cognitive-technical laboratories, where execution under pressure is measurable and research-aligned.

Structured, research-aligned execution

01

Perceive, process, react

Every station trains the full decision loop, not an isolated skill.

02

Executive function integration

Cognitive load is built into technical and physical execution, not tested apart from it.

03

Cognitive load progression

Ten levels of pressure, applied consistently across every session.

04

Diagnostics kept separate

Physical diagnostics are separated from skill benchmarking, by design.

Four ways programmes use it

Athlete profiling session at a university
01

Athlete profiling for varsity programmes

Standardised profiles for every athlete, tracked across semesters and staff transitions.

Researchers collecting performance data
02

Research data collection

Consistent methodology produces data that holds up to academic scrutiny.

Performance lab equipped with Goal Station
03

Performance lab differentiation

A measurable, research-grade layer that sets a programme apart from standard training facilities.

Recruitment benchmarking data on screen
04

Recruitment benchmarking

Objective, comparable signals to support recruitment decisions.

Standardisation enables research integrity

Operating System governance ensures consistent methodology across semesters and staff transitions, so results stay comparable year over year.

Questions, answered

What are Environments S, M and L?

Goal Station is delivered as scalable environments. S is entry validation, M is a high-density profit engine for 8 or more athletes at once, and L is maximum throughput plus elite services. We sell capacity, not components.

What determines which environment is right for my facility?

The recommendation depends on available space, target athlete volume, commercial objectives and development ambitions. An evaluation is conducted before proposal.

How many players can train at once?

Environment M is typically structured for 8 or more athletes simultaneously while maintaining repetition quality. Capacity increases with larger environments.

How many touches does a player get per session?

Players typically achieve up to 1,300 quality touches per hour, depending on level and session structure.

Can it be installed indoors and outdoors?

Yes to both. Indoor installations are common for controlled benchmarking, and outdoor installations work on artificial turf, provided durability and surface conditions meet requirements. Natural grass is generally not recommended, since variability affects benchmark consistency.

Is Goal Station portable?

No. It is designed as installed infrastructure for long-term facility optimisation. For smaller solutions, contact hey@a-champs.com.
