A Player ID System (ROXScanner + 50 ID bands), a dedicated Control Tablet already set up with ROXPro and labelled for its configuration, and Operating System Access.
Charge, connect and fit the accessories. Use this whenever you set up a configuration again or onboard a new coach.
Start charging as soon as the boxes arrive: about 2.5 h the first time, then about 2 h. Battery colour: red ≤ 40%, yellow 41–80%, flashing green ≥ 81%, solid green full.
Each tablet arrives pre-configured for one configuration. Match every tablet and its pods to the configuration on its label.
Hold your palm over the power button for 5 seconds until the pod vibrates and flashes green. In the app: SETUP → ROX Status → Synchronize. Pods turn from yellow to green.
Mount the accessories your configuration uses.
A result only counts if it lands on the right player. Use this checklist whenever you register a new group of athletes.
One person can do it alone; the second person roughly halves the time. Numbers here are for a 250-player intake; scale them to your squad.
Done when: 250 profiles live, bands sorted, reader paired.
Done when: every profile in the list shows the band icon. That icon is the confirmation; no separate sign-off needed.
Something off? Fix it now, after 25 bands of work instead of 250. This replaces a separate trial run: same evidence, nothing done twice.
Done when: 250/250 linked, no duplicates, dashboard reads correctly.
Done when: bands deployed, report archived, all profiles ACTIVE.
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| ROXScanner reader | Portable RFID reader, Bluetooth, fully charged |
| ID bands | 250 labelled bands, numbered 1–250, pre-sorted |
| Tablet | ROXPro app, paired to the reader |
| Laptop | Club Dashboard, live database access |
| Network | Stable connection, wired preferred for the primary device |
| Symptom | Do this |
|---|---|
| Band won't read | Hold closer than 2 cm and wait 2 s. Still failing? Set that band aside and continue; deal with strays at the end. |
| Wrong ID on dashboard | Re-sync that single profile. No need to restart the batch. |
| Reader drops connection | Re-pair in ROXPro. Bands already synced are unaffected. |
| Gap in the ID list | Create the missing profile, then sync its band individually. |

Every configuration comes with drills designed by our sport-science team, ready to use in the app. Your Partner Channel holds your onboarding plan: Sessions 1–3, 4–6 and 7–9, with 3–5 drills per configuration. Pick the drill that matches today's football problem.
Custom charging solution? Just plug your charger into the configuration. You can keep training while it charges. Any questions, reach out to your account manager.
Lock the Control Tablet so it shows only your private channel's video-guided drills for that configuration. Players and staff coaches see just the exercises they need, without the more complex views of the app. Ideal when players train on their own or when a less experienced coach runs the configuration.
Power off, then charge: keep the sensors mounted and plug the configuration into its custom charging solution, or return the pods to the charging base (not overnight). If you don't have a custom charger option for your configuration, reach out to your account manager.
Test in week 1 to set a baseline, then every 6–8 weeks. Same drill, same settings, same warm-up every time.
Football Execution Radar graph: First Touch, Passing, Dribbling, Shooting. Each skill progresses through 10 levels. Athlete Profile, shown separately: SPRINT & AGILITY PERFORMANCE.
Players leave every session with proof of their progress, and parents see it too.
Set up your own leaderboards on the Club Dashboard: choose the drill, the group and the period, then show it on the big screen in your facility. Use them for competition blocks, events and to keep intensity high.
Review the dashboard the same day and export analytics after each test block.
Only start here once your coaches run sessions with confidence. These features add pressure and capacity. Use what fits your setup; not every club needs all of them.
Shorter timeout or delay, sound on for auditory scanning only. Explore the settings that can give you unlimited progression options of the same base exercise. Change one at a time so progress stays measurable.
Grouping splits the pods into up to 4 groups, each with its own colour, so several players or teams train on the same configuration at once. It's useful for larger squads and competitions. Skip it if you train one player at a time.
Beyond the pre-designed drills, Open Programs such as Distraction, Memory, Indicator and Lights Out let you build your own challenges. Find them all in the video library.
